SADE, a new Nordic city every year

Every year, doctors and endoscopy nurses from the Nordic countries meet for two days of live endoscopy and lectures, and a hands-on day with the industry. We have been the PCO for the last 25 years.

The task

SADE is a Nordic society, and the course moves to a new country every year. Each edition has a local organising committee, but the practical work, the finances and the contact with the industry must run the same way every time. That is our job.

What we do

  • Budget in EUR and final account to the board
  • Contracts with venues and hotels in each country
  • The conference website sade.dk
  • Online registration with private links for speakers and committee
  • Card payment, invoices, EAN and e-invoicing
  • Sponsor packages, contracts and floor plan
  • Hands-on day together with the industry
  • Call for abstracts and newsletters
  • Name badges, signs and certificates
  • On-site team, survey and report to the board

A new country, the same quality

Every country has its own venues, prices, VAT rules and ways of invoicing. We contract local venues and hotels, keep the budget in EUR, and send invoices in the format each hospital needs: EAN in Denmark and e-invoicing via Peppol in Sweden and Norway.

Listening to the exhibitors

After SADE 2025, the exhibitor survey showed that the hands-on sessions and the break logistics had to be better. The feedback was used in the planning of SADE 2026, and exhibitor satisfaction rose from 38% to 80%. In 2026 the hands-on day had 55 participants.
