A symposium in a hospital setting
The Pancreatic Cancer Symposium brings together every specialty that treats pancreatic cancer for one day in the main auditorium of Herlev Hospital. We have run all three editions.
The task
The symposium is organised by clinicians and researchers who also run busy departments. They decide the programme and the speakers. Everything else, from the website to the last coffee break, is handled by us.
What we do
- The conference website pancreascancersymposium.dk
- Online registration and payment
- Sponsor packages, contracts and invoicing
- Exhibition area in the hospital
- Coordination with catering, AV and hospital services
- Name badges, signage and printed programme
- On-site team and evaluation
Working inside a hospital
A hospital auditorium is not a congress centre. Access, catering, AV, the exhibition area and signage all have to be agreed with the hospital's own services. We know Herlev Hospital well and coordinate with the departments involved, so the day runs smoothly for both delegates and staff.
Financed by the industry
Most of the budget comes from sponsors, in particular pharmaceutical companies working in oncology. We put together the sponsor packages, handle contracts and invoices and make sure each sponsor gets what they paid for on the day.
Planning a meeting at a hospital or university?
We know how to make it work, from access cards to coffee breaks.
